|
For many years, FRINGS has been providing gas/liquid reaction technology to the chemical, biotechnology and food processing industries.
The gas transfer from fine primary bubbles through the gas/liquid interphase boundary into the solution determines the absorption and reaction speed, providing that the reaction is independent from the dissolved gas concentration. The ingredients of the solution to be aerated, especially salts, alcohols and organic acids, determine the coalescence of the bubbles, the decrease in the number of bubbles and the effective mass transfer area.

The mixing of liquid volumes with the free jets produced by the aeration turbines is due to the displacement and the expansion of the rising gas bubbles. This expansion can also be used for the flotation of ingredients in the solution.
