FRINGS exhaust air condensers were designed to reduce emissions and increase Acetator yield. Optimally, 50 to 60 % of the volatile substances (acetic acid and alcohol) contained in the exhaust air can be recovered by the condenser in case of optimum operation (depending on the temperature of the cooling water).

Another important feature of this FRINGS technology is the reduction of vinegar odor dissipating from the plant exhaust into the atmosphere. This advantage is highly appreciated above all in densely populated residential districts.
