|
One application example of this filtration method is the filter REDUMAX (Fig. 1). This filter is mainly used for the filtration of concentrates from a central filtration plant. Modifications to the module design and new flow parameters led to the development of this new filter. The REDUMAX is capable of filtering at least 70 % of the “super concentrate”, enabling the user to reduce neutralization and disposal costs. At the end of filtration, the product is free from bacteria (cut-off 0.1 µm) and ready for further processing. An additional feature available for the REDUMAX filter is a periodic backflush system. Some of our customers showed a payback of less than one year with the type F01. |
