In our company, engineering plays an important role for many customer-based projects. Even though “construction sets” and “standard modules” from our machine and plant portfolio may be deployed in most cases , many orders placed by our customers involve individual configurations or even complex constructions and plant planning. This is exactly the area that we specialised in early on: we do not manufacture "off-the-shelf" systems but endeavour to provide our customers with perfectly tailor-made solutions.

Taking a site inspection, a detailed description of the actual situation (please do not hesitate to ask for a prepared questionnaire) or a product requirements document as a starting point, we draw up a first draft for the plant, which can then be translated into a conceptual design/engineering. The “conceptual engineering” is followed by the ”basic engineering” and ”detailed engineering” of machinery and plants. Based on this, both the planning of the arrangement and the power supply units on the customer’s part and the production of the FRINGS plants are carried out in close cooperation.

Within the course of the engineering process we use a variety of computer-based tools, such as:

- Flow diagram development in 2D-CAD

- Layout design in 3D-CAD 

- Plant calculation with FEM

- Flow calculation with CFD

- Part list determination within the ERP system

- Engineering planning with MS PROJECT
