FRIBORATOR P for Demanding Sterile Processes

For small and medium-sized reactors with the highest demands on sterilisation technology, these efficient gas/liquid mixing turbines are suitable for a multitude of applications. 
The specific design features of the FRIBORATOR P systems are:

  • Single-piece rotor and stator produced from “solid matter”, with complete drainage
  • High surface qualities up to a surface roughness of Ra < 0.4 µm with optional electropolishing
  • High-quality materials (1.4404 / 1.4435)
  • Pressure level -1/3 bar or higher
  • “Hygienic design” mechanical seal SiC/SiC with double effect with thermosiphon system for water seal supply with sterile condensate

Like all FRIBORATOR turbine designs, the P series has outstanding properties in the production of the finest bubble gas/liquid dispersions for gas transfer and very good homogenisation properties due to the special flow regime. For hybrid processes or multi-phase media, the turbine also has special emulsifying properties.

The units can also be produced from special stainless steels such as 1.4529, hastelloy or other materials (e.g. high-performance plastics such as PEEK or PVDF) at the customer’s request.  
All components are designed to conform to FDA. Optionally, materials and production steps can also be documented in accordance with the guidelines of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
